Modern Slavery Statement

Wilderness Way has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and exploitation.

As an organisation that supports vulnerable children and young people, protecting people’s rights, dignity, and safety is fundamental to who we are. We are committed to ensuring that modern slavery does not take place in any part of our organisation or supply chains.

In line with the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we take a number of steps to prevent exploitation, including:

Responsible recruitment practices, including verifying identity and right to work
Fair employment conditions that meet or exceed legal standards
Clear policies, including safeguarding and whistleblowing, that enable colleagues to raise concerns
Working with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical and responsible practices

We encourage colleagues, partners, and suppliers to speak up if they have concerns about exploitation or unethical practices. All concerns are taken seriously and investigated appropriately.

We will continue to review our policies, training, and supply chain practices to ensure we maintain the highest standards in protecting people from exploitation.
